Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama continues to enjoy a wide lead over John McCain in California, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports poll. The results, showing Obama leading the Republican nominee 56 percent to 40 percent, are largely unchanged from last month and the month before.
The poll also shows that California voters are very anxious about the economy. A mere four percent of voters surveyed say the nation's economy is in good or excellent, and only one percent believe that economic conditions are getting better.
The survey also included questions about Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, whose job performance was rated as good or excellent from 35 percent of voters, while 33 percent said he is doing a poor job.
The telephone survey of 500 likely voters was conducted on Oct. 9 and has a +/- 4.5 percent margin of error.

I thought that McCain was going to compete in California.
Just a month or two ago he was going to open offices here in the state and make a go of it.
I suppose it's because he's got no plan other then being angry and confused?
Now the question is how long Obama's coat tails are and how many congressional districts he can take with him.
