Dellums delivers ultimatum to Oakland city executive
By Jeff Mitchell, PolitickerCA.com EditorMayor Ron Dellums has apparently shown Oakland City Administrator Deborah Edgerly the door this week after she allegedly interfered in a police gang operation on behalf of her nephew, Chip Johnson reports in today's San Francisco Chronicle.
According to Johnson, Dellums along with Police Chief Wayne Tucker had a meeting with Edgerly on Wednesday. During that meeting Edgerly - Oakland's highest non-elected official - was told that because of her role in the June 7 incident that she has until Monday to resign, retire or be fired.
Edgerly did not respond to Johnson's requests for comment on the situation.

The only thing worse than Deborah Edgerly's actions is the non-action and slow to take action by Ron Dellums and his sickening platitudes about her service professionalism and brilliance that she brought to her job. Please!!!
Citizens of Oakland,you need to wake up-stop disparing and thinking that there is no hope for your city. You can change all of the negative bad press and images about your city. Crime and proverty can be addressed and greatly reduced. You need to make your city officials responsible and get rid of Deborah Edgerly, Ron Dellums and all those like them-feeding at the public trough and getting quite "Fat" at it!!!!!!.
